Church Involvement

"Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who has promised is faithful. And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching."

[Hebrews 10:23-25]

"Will you continue in the apostles' teaching and
fellowship, in the breaking of the bread, and in the
prayers?"
"I will, with God's help."

[Book of Common Prayer, Baptismal Covenant]

Altar Guild

The Altar Guild prepares the altar of our Savior, Jesus Christ, for the celebration of Holy Eucharist. In so doing, Altar Guild members minister to the clergy, supporting them as they celebrate the sacraments; minister to the congregation, preparing a place of peace and beauty where all may receive the body and blood of Jesus; minister to one another by example of dedication and encouragement; and minister to the world by setting themselves in God’s way. This ministry is open to all: women, men, families. Members work in teams, sharing a very special fellowship. Scheduling is flexible.

There are many other ways you can help serve at St. Timothy's.  We always need Eucharistic Ministers, Lay Readers, Acolytes, Greeters, Ushers, Choir Members and Sunday School Teachers.

Pastoral Care Team

Our pastoral care team works to meet the needs of our community - both within and outside the parish. Whether it be funeral support, meal trains, Eucharistic Visitors, or prayer - we are here to support you in whatever you are going through.

Community Service and Volunteer Opportunities

St Timothy's is committed to helping our community through work with the Soup Kitchen, cemetery restoration, food distribution and so much more. If you have suggestions for ways we can better serve our community, please let us know. Whether you are looking for a project overseen by our Community Outreach Commission or are interested in trying something new, there are plenty of opportunities to serve with St. Timothy's.

Episcopal Church Women

The Episcopal Church Women (ECW) are dedicated to sharing the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ by engaging in worship, prayer, study, service and fellowship. Any woman who is  a member of the Episcopal Church automatically belongs to ECW. The extent to which a woman is involved in ECW activity is up to her.
